While the Democrat party continues to morph into socialism, some new numbers show that it's not just happening in deep blue states like New York and California.
According to a new CNN poll, a whopping third of Democrats now identify as socialists.
"They've made no bones about it, they're not hiding what they want to do" said Jennifer Kelly, host and former spokeswoman for the California GOP, "They want to completely tear up the United States constitution and rewrite it."
But the Dems also have a dilemma, as the data shows that the majority of Americans want nothing to do with socialism.
"Socialism does not have a place in the United States of America, and that's what we have to push back on in the midterm elections" Kelly told KTRH, adding that socialism will be on the ballot in November.
During a recent interview, radical Democrat Senator Adam Schiff (D-CA) was asked about the alarming numbers, and he gave CNN the company line: “I would rather be in that big tent in the majority than be a smaller party that is stuck forever in the minority."
Jennifer Kelly, who is also a Republican strategist, says that is flawed thinking.
"There's one problem with Adam Schiff saying that they have a big tent, and therefore the socialists are welcome inside their tent" noted Kelly, "The problem is, the socialists want to come inside the tent of America and burn it down to the ground."
And therein lies the problem, and it's why socialism has now become the number one issue for the midterms.
