Despite Scandals, Platner Cruises to Victory in Maine

Maine Senate Candidate Graham Platner Holds His Primary Election Night Event

Despite his man scandals, Maine Democrats gave Graham Platner a huge win in the state' Democratic Senate Primary Tuesday night.

Platner got more than 70% of the vote, easily outpacing Governor Janet Mills, who was still on the ballot despite suspending her campaign earlier in the cycle.

Platner moves on to the general election, where he will face longtime Republican Senator Susan Collins.

In other primaries. among the President Trump endorsed candidates to pick up wins included South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham, who is running for his fifth term.
