President Trump delivered his veterans day address to a massive crowd at Arlington National Cemetery, where he praised that millions of Americans who dedicated their lives to the service and protection of the United States.
During his speech, he praised their bravery, saying, "they made themselves America's ramparts, and became the shield between our homeland and those who would do us harm."
He also highlighted his administrations commitment to ensuring that those sacrifices are honored by bringing much needed reform to the VA. One of the major achievements he pointed to was the opening of 20 new VA facilities across the country.
Trump also honored the more than 1 million American service members who not only signed up to protect the United States, but also made the ultimate sacrifice on battlefields across the globe. He said, ""Our heroes have lived through unthinkable nightmares so we could live the American Dream."
