Illegal Aliens, Activists Throw Tantrums Over Trump's Alien Tracking System

President Trump has made it abundantly clear that he will not tolerate illegal aliens coming into the United States. Period. His administration has managed to essentially stop the flow of immigration, relative to what it was under the Biden Administration at least. Through Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids, and executive orders, illegal aliens are realizing America is not their places of refuge anymore.

Of course, Democrats are throwing temper tantrums over this, because they are always throwing tantrums over something. Especially when it puts their desired voter base, illegal aliens, at risk. So, activists and illegals have sued the Trump Administration over one of his executive orders. Specifically, his use of the 1940 Alien Registration Act, which requires illegal immigrants to check-in with the government. Name, phone number, and ways to keep tabs on them.

Logically, it makes all the sense in the world. But like oil and water, logic and Democrats simply do not mix.

Ira Mehlman of the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) says they filed a brief in the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals, opposing this attempted derailment of policy by the activists and illegals.

"If they are uncomfortable in registering with the government...they should either leave the country on their own or accept the government does have the legitimate right to know where they are," he says.

Simply put, if you are not here legally, you do not need to be here. That is not some racist, right-wing take. That is how the majority of Americans feel today. It is so basic. Yet, liberals want to fight that at every turn.

Mostly they fight it because they want to use illegal aliens as their new voter base. But even that is failing, as now legal immigrants are demanding something be done about illegal immigration. That much was evident in the 2024 election, when the Rio Grande Valley in Texas made strong flips to voting Republican.

The lawsuit from these groups also claims that what Trump is doing is not only illegal, but criminal. Which is pure lunacy.

"You have no right to be here, and we will remove you from the country...those claims do not apply," says Mehlman. "If people are violating the laws, they should have no expectation the government is going to shield them from their own violations."

Ironic that the people breaking the law are accusing the Trump Administration of breaking the law. That is why beyond the fact they are insane claims; they just hold no weight whatsoever.

"Being deported from the country because you are here illegally is not a punishment, it is a remedy...it just restores the situation to what it should be," Mehlman says.

As for the court case Mehlman says the law should hold up.

But it is just the latest example of how Democrats will cut off their nose to spite their face. They know people are against illegal immigration, yet they fight it tooth and nail. The more they do, the further they drive the nail into their own coffin.
