US Carries Out Its 8th Strike On Alleged Drug Vessel In Eastern Pacific.

The 7 strikes prior to Wednesday's announcement were in the Caribbean.

“Yesterday, at the direction of President Trump, the Department of War conducted a lethal kinetic strike on a vessel known by our intelligence to be involved in illicit narcotics smuggling, was transiting along a known narco-trafficking transit route and carrying narcotics." Secretary Pete Hegseth announced Wednesday.

The strike on Tuesday killed 2 narco-terrorists aboard the vessel in international waters. No US forces were harmed in this strike.

Earlier this week, Trump officials announced 3 alleged narco-terrorists were killed in a U.S. strike on a drug smuggling vessel affiliated with Colombia’s National Liberation Army. The strike happened Friday at the direction of President Trump. Colombia’s Ejercito de Liberacion (ELN) is a designated terrorist organization.

Since the Trump Administration began cracking down on the suspected drug smuggling vessels, about one month ago, at least 34, narco-terrorists have been eliminated, as part of Trump’s broader effort to dismantle transnational cartels by force.
