Even though president Donald Trump has begun ending the Department of Education, some experts are warning that 'woke' education bureaucrats are not done yet.
Sadly, after years of power with zero accountability, these 'educators' still think they know what's best for our kids.
"The outrageous behavior of education bureaucrats, or educrats and the teachers unions, in the face of abject failure" said Sherry Sylvester, distinguished senior fellow at the Texas Public Policy Foundation, "The idea that they think that they have a leg to stand on, they have not been successful."
But the unions have, and that's why they are fighting so hard to block school choice here in Texas. The bottom line is, there is still work to be done.
"It is one step to get rid of the federal department of education" Sylvester told KTRH, "It's another step we have to continue to work to get rid of identity politics, and the left-wing ideology that drives a lot of our schools."
It's also why over 100 left-wing school districts in Texas fought so hard to prevent 'school grades' from being released to the public. Earlier this week, an appeals court has ruled that the Texas Education Agency can release its A-F ratings of schools and their districts for the 2023 year.
These 'educrats' still want to control our children, and the fight will continue.
