We knew radical leftists would push back against Trump's border security efforts, but they're now going even farther than they did during Trump's first term. They've done everything from lying about ICE operations to leaking sensitive information about ICE raids and officer locations.

Alice ISD here in Texas had posted a letter claiming that law enforcement might board school buses in order to question, detain, or even deport students. That claim was later refuted by Border Patrol Chief Mike Banks, who told Fox News that it was "absurd."

What's more concerning, however, is the leaking of information about an ICE raid to members of the Tren De Aragua gang in Aurora, Colorado, that resulted in the raid having to be delayed.

Former ICE Special Agent Victor Avila says these types of actions only serve to put law enforcement agents at risk. He said, "This is very concerning, because eventually someone is gonna get hurt. But the people putting out the leaks and the memos, they don't care."

He says the only thing these leftist resistance tactics achieve is making their communities more dangerous by hampering public safety efforts by ICE and other law enforcement agencies. He said, "I don't know what it's going to take for the public to realize what's happening right now is a good thing. Public safety is a positive for the community."

Avila went on to warn that some of these leakers and even public officials that are pushing back against border security might be violating the law. He said that anyone impeding the federal government, harboring illegal aliens, or leaking information could be facing charges. He added that those charges will probably be coming down the pipeline sooner rather than later.
