Mexico has seemingly caved to President Donald Trump. Trump announced this morning on TruthSocial that he has agreed to pause the 25% tariff on Mexican goods for 30 days in exchange for Mexico deploying 10,000 soldiers to the border to secure the Mexican side of the U.S. border.

Trump also announced that there will be further negotiations between the U.S. and Mexico led by Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

Trump has yet to reach any sort of agreement with Canada, but is expected to continue discussions with him via phone later today.
