I was going through my Spurs memorabilia and found this item from 1974 that took me back to that second season the team was in San Antonio. It is a Spurs / Coca-Cola roster sheet from 1974 that Steve DiRocco and I got autographed at the Hemisfair Arena.
I was 13-years-old when the Spurs moved to San Antonio from Dallas, where they had been the Chaparrals. I immediately became a hardcore fan, taking the bus from the Northside down to the Hemisfair Arena to watch the games.
There are many amazing Spurs signatures on this photo roster, including Red McCombs, original radio voice Terry Stembridge and my favorite Spur ever, Rrrrrrrrrich Jones! #GoSpursGo
