San Antonio's budget for fiscal year 2023 now has the approval of the City Council.Ā Council members passed the more than $3 billion spending plan on Thursday afternoon.Ā The budget features a reduction in the property tax rate, pay raises for city employees, and dozens of new police officers.Ā It also includes more than $42 million in bill credits for CPS Energy customers.Ā The council approved the budget on a 9-to-1 vote, with one abstention.
