1 Two Faculty Members Shot At Denver High School By Student

A manhunt has commenced for a student who allegedly shot two male faculty members at East High School in Denver yesterday. Police say the 17-year-old suspect was supposed to be searched every day before entering the school due to "past behavior issues." During the search, they say he pulled out a gun and started firing. Mayor Michael Hancock stated that help was able to tend to the wounded staffers "immediately" since they were already at the school treating a student's allergic reaction. The two victims were taken to an area hospital, and one underwent surgery for life-threatening injuries. Police have identified the suspect as Austin Lyle and posted his picture to Twitter. Denver Police Chief Ron Thomas didn't identify the suspect during a press conference because Lyle is a juvenile. The suspect is described as a Black male, 5 feet, 5 inches tall, weighing 150 pounds. The suspect is now wanted for attempted homicide. The high school will remain closed for the rest of the week.

2 Bomb Cyclone Kills Five In Northern California, One In Southern California

At least five people have been killed in the Bay Area during a "bomb cyclone" storm Tuesday. The gale-force wind left widespread destruction across the region. Two victims were killed in separate incidents in San Francisco, one person in Oakland by a toppled tree, and two others in San Mateo County were killed by falling trees as well. The wind was also strong enough to flip over a big rig on the Bay Bridge and snarl traffic around the area due to multiple toppled trees. The San Francisco Fire Department also stated that four people were injured, three of them critically, from fallen trees. Meanwhile, at least one person in Southern California is reportedly injured after a tornado ripped through the eastern part of Los Angeles County yesterday, damaging at least 17 buildings in Montebello. Ariel Cohen, meteorologist in charge at the National Weather Service Los Angeles/ Oxnard, confirmed that a tornado caused the damage. An urban search and rescue team was dispatched and evacuated residents were wandering the streets, as they were instructed not to go back inside buildings in the area deemed unsafe by authorities.

3 Trump Grand Jury Told To Stay Home Yesterday, Possibly Today Too

The New York City grand jury didn’t end up working on the Trump indictment case yesterday as originally planned. Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg told the jury to stay home and stand by for tomorrow, Thursday. Meanwhile, law enforcement sources are telling Business Insider there may not even be a vote this week on whether to indict Trump. NBC4 New York reports the reason for the delay is unclear. Grand jurors are investigating alleged money paid to adult film actress Stormy Daniels in 2016 by former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen to cover up an alleged affair. What are the former President’s thoughts on the DA? Trump has taken to blasting Bragg on his social media site Truth Social, calling him a "rogue prosecutor" and insisting he's "having a hard time with the Grand Jury." Trump added Manhattan would be a better place to live if Bragg focused on tackling violent crime. In other Trump news, his attorney Evan Corcoran is being ordered to testify in his classified documents case tomorrow. The feds have been looking into Trump over the FBI's discovery of the classified materials at his Florida estate, Mar-a-Lago last year. New reports say Trump may have deliberately misled his attorneys about classified documents in his possession after leaving office. Trump has denied any wrongdoing.
