Not only was Louisville Democrat mayor Greg Fischer sucker punched in an unprovoked attack, his security detail basically let the suspect flee without really confronting or attempting to apprehend him.
Yesterday, po-po annouced the arrest of Antwon Brown, 30. He faces a charge of fourth-degree assault.
“Police say Mayor Greg Fischer was punched in the face while talking to someone in the crowd on Saturday at a Fourth Street Live! event.
The video, which you can watch above, shows Fischer falling to the ground after a man punches him. You can see someone follow the suspect briefly before going back to check on Fischer.
EMS evaluated the mayor immediately and determined he did not need medical treatment.”
Saturday's attack occurred months after Louisville BLM activist Quintez Brown was charged with attempted murder after shooting at Democratic mayoral candidate Craig Greenberg in his campaign office.
A bullet grazed Greenberg’s clothes but he was not injured.
