Arizona Border Sheriff: Biden Has Created A “Crime Scene” At The Border

Cochise County, Arizona Sheriff Mark Dannels says they had control on illegal immigration in his County until Biden decided rescind the “emergency order on the southwest border” as it stopped “resources and stopped construction” of the wall.

Sheriff Dannels’ Cochise County covers 83 miles of the U.S.-Mexico border.

He points out:

“As a result of that, one area where the fence is not complete, we get five or six groups a day coming across there. It’s opened up the border. This administration owns this decision and what it’s doing is it’s forcing us back to 2019, when we had the largest, what I call crime scene in the country, to include the largest humanitarian situation going on.”

In a separate interview with the Washington Times, Sheriff Dannels says the Biden administration basically “built roads for the cartels” by taking away resources which has created security gaps in the area.

He says the problem is with “one area that’s wide open right now, we’re getting five to six groups a day. It’s almost worse than it was before. We just built them infrastructure.”

Meanwhile, Texas Democrat Rep. Henry Cuellar warns we may be “days away” from a serious crisis at the border. He points out “In the last 7 days in the valley they have stopped 10,000 individuals and 2,500 individuals in the last two days and many are being released”.

Cuellar who represent the border along the Rio Grande says the country is unprepared to handle the growing surge in illegal immigration along with border especially during a pandemic.Cuellar is also warning federal officials about the risk of exposing border communities to the coronavirus when transporting and releasing migrants in different cities.
