iHeartRadio SA Metro Health Launch Friday Night Dance Party

iHeartRadio San Antonio, announced today the launch of virtual Friday Night Dance Parties powered by San Antonio Metro Health. Every Friday night at 7PM, the community is invited to tune in to iHeartRadio stations 96.1 Now, KJ97, Q101.9 and 104.5 Latino Hits for thirty-minute virtual dance party from the comfort of their own homes.

All participating stations will launch the thirty-minute virtual Dance Party by playing the opening song across all stations at straight up 7PM

Aug 14 Happy by Pharrell

Aug 21 “Can’t Stop The Feeling” by Justin Timberlake

Aug 28 “Uptown Funk” by Mark Ronson featuring Bruno Mars.

Listeners are encouraged to hold virtual dance parties and sing along outside of their homes while maintaining social distance in an effort “to get some fresh air, wave to their neighbors and get some exercise.”

Participants are encouraged to share photos and videos of their dance parties on social media by tagging @SAMetroHealth @961nowsa, @kj97sanantonio, @1045Latino_Hits or @Q1019 using the hashtag #DancePartySA #StopTheSpreadSA #SanAntonio. Remember to “maintain at least 6 ft distance from others at all times, including while singing and dancing.”

We invite all San Antonians to turn up their radios and smart devices every Friday in August at 7PM!
