Alabama Takes Care Of Clemson In Sugar Bowl

Alabama is finding themselves victorious in a College Football Playoff  trilogy.  The Crimson Tide defeated Clemson 24-6 at the CFP semifinal in  the Sugar Bowl.  'Bama and the Tigers had met in the previous two title  games with each program winning once.  It will be an all-SEC matchup in  Atlanta when the fourth-ranked Tide face number-three Georgia next  Monday.  Jalen Hurts threw for two touchdowns, one each to Calvin Ridley  and defensive lineman Da'Ron Payne.  Payne also had one of Alabama's  two interceptions, the other was returned for a touchdown by Mack  Wilson from 18 yards out.  The Crimson Tide are 12-and-1.  Clemson ended  the season 12-and-2.  Kelly Bryant completed 18-of-36 passes for 124  yards and the two picks for the defending national champs.
