1 Report: Planners Of Jan. 6 Events Spoke With Members Of Congress, WH Staff

Members of Congress and their staffs were involved in talks about events to protest last year's presidential election. That's according to “Rolling Stone,” who reports that at least two individuals were involved in the process – one is reportedly an organizer while the other is a planner of the rally in Washington, DC. As for who they talked to, “Rolling Stone” says Republicans including Georgia’s Marjorie Taylor Greene along with Paul Gosar and Andy Biggs of Arizona participated in talks about the events or had their staff members join in on the conversations. And that’s not all – the rally organizer says Gosar brought up a possible "blanket pardon" in an unrelated probe. Rolling Stone also says the congressional committee investigating the deadly riot has heard from three people involved with the DC rally that day. The two individuals also claim they talked with former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows – and say Meadows had a chance to stop the violence before it happened. As such, the House committee wants documents and testimony from Meadows, among others.
