SAFN Video Of The Day

Darius Rucker performed a private concert for MUSC Children’s Hospital as part of Musicians On Call’s “Healing Through Music” campaign, and reworked one of his hits for the coronavirus age. The singer performed his Hootie and the Blowfish classic “Hold My Hand,” and as you may expect, changed it to “Wash Your Hands.” Musicians On Call’s (MOC) vision of a world filled with the healing power of music is more important now than ever. During these times when many patients and caregivers are experiencing even more isolation and uncertainty, MOC and Hyundai Hope On Wheels (HHOW) have come together to use technology to bring the joy of music to children’s hospitals nationwide. With Musicians On Call & Hyundai Hope On Wheels present Healing Through Music, patients, nurses and doctors will be surprised with live, virtual interactions and performances from their favorite celebrity artists. These performances will inspire hope and encouragement when it’s needed the most.
