Shootout In Jersey City Leaves Six Dead, Three Injured

Several others – two officers and one civilian – are recovering from injuries.
Police Chief Michael Kelly says the officer was in plain clothes when he was shot with a high-powered rifle at a local cemetery.
The suspects barricaded themselves in a kosher supermarket for hours, where they continued to fire at police.
In the end, five people were found dead inside the store, including the two suspects.
Meanwhile, investigators in New Jersey believe the gunmen targeted the market – though they don’t yet know why.
