Tropical Storm Edouard has made landfall on the Gulf Coast, with winds at 60miles an hour. Official landfall is near Johnson Bayou, Louisiana.
At landfall, Edouard had wind speeds of 60 miles an hour, and was moving North West at 8mph. The storm is expected to dissipate throughout Tuesday and Wednesday as it moves inland.
The storm is projected to dump 3-5 inches of rain in some areas across Houston, with some east of Interstate 45 seeing higher amounts. A Flood watch is also in effect for Harris County until Wednesday morning.
The areas that are expected to be hardest hit include Chambers, Liberty and Jefferson counties.
