The Astros are adding a veteran outfielder to their roster with just over a month left in the regular season. ESPN reports that Houston is finalizing a deal with Jason Heyward after he was designated for assignment by the Los Angeles Dodgers last week. The 15-year veteran is batting .208 with six home runs and 28 RBIs through 63 games played this season. Heyward has played in over 17-hundred career games split between the Dodgers, Chicago Cubs, St. Louis Cardinals and Atlanta Braves. The five-time Gold Glover won the World Series with the Cubs in 2016.
