Street closures are still in effect in downtown Houston as crews work to repair damage from last week's storm. High winds blew out more than 2,500 windows in downtown office buildings and businesses. The Downtown Houston Management District is asking businesses to allow their employees to work from home if they can. The street closures involve such main arteries as Smith, Louisiana, Dallas, Milam, McKinney, and others. Metro's Park & Ride service to downtown is discontinued until after the Memorial Day weekend.
