Texas A&M has decided on who will be the new leader of its football program. ESPN reports that the university and Duke's Mike Elko have reached an agreement to make him the school's next head football coach. The report said that an official announcement is expected in the next 24 hours. Elko served as the Aggies' defensive coordinator from 2018-to-2021 before leaving to become the head coach of the Blue Devils. He will replace the recently fired Jimbo Fisher, who was paid a record-setting 76-million dollar buyout earlier this month. Elko led Duke to a combined 16-and-9 record over two seasons in Durham.
