Schools In Texas Targeted By Active Shooter Hoax Calls

There were multiple reports of active shooters at schools in Texas today and in all cases they were hoaxes. More than a half dozen colleges and universities across the state received threats at about the same time.

Galen College of Nursing in San Antonio, Collin College in Plano, Baylor University in Waco, Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth, Del Mar College in Corpus Christi, Tyler Junior College in Tyler and Texas A&M's Health Science Center are among the schools to receive threats. In all cases, police responded and found no evidence of any shootings taking place.
