The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is investigating an outbreak of a gastrointestinal illness on a cruise ship out of Galveston. The Ruby Princess was on a cruise from February 26th through March 5th. Of the nearly 29-hundred passengers, 284 came down with symptoms of vomiting and diarrhea. In addition, 34 of the more than 11-hundred crew members fell ill. It's not known when the first case of the disease was reported. The CDC is trying to figure out the cause of the sickness, which doesn't yet have a name.
