A major city charter amendment is now on the May 6th ballot in San Antonio, despite a lack of support from three city councilmen. The council voted 7-0 on Thursday morning to place the San Antonio Justice Charter on the ballot as Proposition A. The amendment was the result of a successful petition, and would decriminalize marijuana and abortion in the city. Councilmen Manny Pelaez, John Courage, and Clayton Perry walked out of the council chamber prior to the vote.
