City Council is getting an early look at plans for the new third terminal at San Antonio International Airport. Representatives of two architectural firms presented conceptual renderings to council members at Wednesday's meeting. The new terminal is expected to open in the spring or summer of 2028. It's planned to be more than twice the size of Terminal A and more than three-times as big as Terminal B. Between the two existing terminals, the airport has 27 gates. The third terminal will add 17 new gates.
