More Than 400,000 Texas Customers Without Power Due To Winter Storm

As of early this morning, more than 400,000 Texan utility customers are without power due to the winter storm. According to PowerOutage.US, about half of those without electricity are in the Austin area, while tens-of-thousands more have lost power in East Texas. The Electric Reliability Council of Texas says the state grid is generating enough power to meet demand and the outages are local.
