Water Freezes At Children's Museum Houston's FlowWorks Exhibit

The water isn't flowing at FlowWorks. The Children's Museum in Houston is open but officials say the freezing temperatures froze the water in the FlowWorks exhibit and the courtyard will be closed due to icy conditions.

FlowWorks is an interactive exhibit all about the flow, pressure and power of water. FlowWorks is more than hands-on—it’s “hands-in,” as it requires you to dip your hands in to make it work! Dive in, develop and explore your own questions as you control and change the flow of water, test how objects respond to water, and observe the impact of water’s force and energy. Today though, the water is frozen thanks to the cold temperatures that have pushed into the state with the latest Arctic blast.
