The grandmother of eight-month-old King Jay Davila will serve no jail time despite her involvement in the baby's death in 2019. Beatrice Sampayo reached a plea deal that requires her to serve ten years of probation. She was also fined 15-hundred dollars and ordered to donate a thousand-dollars to Child Safe. Sampayo is the mother of Christopher Davila, the baby's father. She was charged with tampering with evidence after the boy's disappearance. Relatives claimed Sampayo masterminded the cover-up of the baby's death.
