A former city councilman is the temporary replacement for District 10 Councilman Clayton Perry. The San Antonio City Council unanimously selected Mike Gallagher on Thursday from among the three finalists for the seat. The retired Air Force officer represented the same district from 2014 to 2017, and was immediately sworn in to retake the position. Perry is taking a leave of absence following his involvement in a hit-and-run accident last month. Gallagher will represent the district until Perry returns or his term expires in June.
