Several tourist-themed businesses in Alamo Plaza are agreeing to close or relocate to make room for the future Alamo Museum. The Guinness World Records Museum, Ripley's Haunted Adventure, and Tomb Rider 3D will be shut down by September 1st. The company that owns all three says the 200-or-so employees will be offered jobs at the company's other businesses, including a new souvenir store opening next week across from Rivercenter. Also closing is a nearby Jimmy John's, which will try to find a new location.
