A trial is underway this week for a man accused of murdering his cousin in 2020. The latest pandemic precautions suspended in-person trials this month, but Edison Carraman's trial was allowed to proceed because the jury was selected prior to Christmas. Carraman is accused of the fatal shooting of his cousin Kristopher Carraman. Jurors heard on Wednesday from San Antonio Police Investigator Kevin Dorsey, who testified about why he suspected Carraman so quickly. A crime scene investigator also testified.
