The National Association of Realtors is naming the San Antonio housing market one of its "hidden gems" for the year ahead. That means home prices are expected to increase faster than in most other markets. That may be better news for realtors and sellers than it is for homebuyers. Local home prices are nearly 20% higher than a year ago. In October, the median price of a San Antonio home topped $300,000 for the first time.
