SpaceX founder and CEO Elon Musk says the first orbital launch of the company's Starship space vehicle will happen early next year. Musk said on Wednesday that the Starship is likely to take off from the company's South Texas launch facility in January or February. He added that the company is planning a dozen Starship launches next year. SpaceX is currently waiting on the FAA to complete an environmental review of future launch plans. That report is expected by the end of this year.
