State officials are looking at a short list of five firms to design and build the wall on the Texas-Mexico border. The Texas Facilities Commission is interviewing Montana-based BFBC of Texas, North Dakota-based Fisher Sand and Gravel, New York-based Posillico Civil, Texas-based SLSCO, and New Mexico-based Southwest Valley Constructors. All five companies were either awarded federal border wall contracts, or were considered for those contracts, under President Donald Trump's administration.
