The Texas Supreme Court is saying not-so-fast to the San Antonio ISD's vaccine mandate. A legal tug of war over Gov. Greg Abbott's ban on vaccine mandates by local government entities ended up in the state's highest court on Thursday. Judges in San Antonio and the Fourth Court of Appeals had earlier ruled against the state's lawsuit to stop the district's mandate. The Supreme Court granted the stay that suspends the mandate, which was set to take effect today. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton applauded the ruling.
