A North Texas school superintendent believes having police officers in schools helps in responding to violence. Mansfield ISD Superintendent Dr. Kimberley Cantu says the officer at Timberview High School, west of Dallas, ran quickly to the classroom where shots rang out yesterday. She also praised school staff and other students for quickly containing the danger. Arlington police say Timothy Simpkins shot two people. He's accused of aggravated assault and his family has blamed bullying for the shooting.
