Former FBI Agent Allegedly Cons Woman Out Of $800,000

A retired FBI agent is facing multiple charges for allegedly conning a Texas woman out of $800,000. Prosecutors say William Roy Stone Jr. told the woman she was on "secret probation" for drug crimes and claimed a federal judge ordered her to provide information about her assets starting in 2015. Stone also allegedly proposed to the woman, saying he would seek to end her secret probation if she said yes. Stone was charged with multiple fraud-related charges, and faces up to 178-years in federal prison.
