Alamo Trust To Ask County Commissioners To Support $250M Museum Project

The Alamo Trust will ask the Bexar County Commissioners today to consider contributing $25 million to a new museum at the Alamo. After briefing the commissioners on the plan, the Trust presenters will ask them to instruct the county manager to allocate $5 million for each of the next five years to help fund the project. The estimated cost of the museum is $250 million. Its projected opening date is in 2025.
