A 21-year-old man is charged with the murder of a man who was found shot to death in his home just over a week ago. Bexar County deputies arrested Xavier Arteaga on Saturday for the murder of Rene Galan. Deputies found Galan's body in his home on Hallmark Path, near Pleasanton Road and south of Loop 1604, last Sunday while performing a welfare check. After an investigation, deputies determined Arteaga had murdered Galan after some sort of dispute involving repairs to a Humvee belonging to a woman they knew.
