No Charges In Probe Of Lobbyist Accused Of Drugging Capitol Aide

Officials say no charges will result from an investigation into a Capitol aide's claim that a lobbyist spiked her drink with a date-rape drug. The Department of Public Safety and the Travis County district attorney's office issued a joint statement on Thursday saying that there was insufficient evidence to support the claim, so criminal charges aren't appropriate. The accused lobbyist's attorneys say their client cooperated with the investigation and still denies the accusation.
