Shohei Ohtani snapped a 2-all tie with a solo homer in the eighth inning and the Angels went on to beat the Astros 4-2 in Houston. Alex Bemboom singled in an insurance run in the ninth for Los Angeles, which avoided a four-game sweep. Chris Rodriguez got the win for the Halos, who evened their record at 10-and-10. Luis Garcia took the loss. Yuli Gurriel hit a two-run homer for Houston in the seventh.
