Texas AG Accuses White House Of Encouraging Pandemic Spread

Migrants Housed In Donna, Texas

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is accusing the White House of encouraging the spread of coronavirus. Paxton sued the Biden administration on Thursday, saying its border policy threatens Texans because illegal immigrants are gathering in a congregated care setting. Paxton claims the administration is disregarding the public health crisis caused by the pandemic, which could hurt the Texas economy. He's hoping a judge will award relief to Texas by requiring illegal immigrants to be quarantined for at least 14 days before they're released.
