More Than 500K San Antonians Have Received At Least One Vaccine Dose

More than half-a-million San Antonio residents have received at least one coronavirus vaccine. Mayor Ron Nirenberg gave an update of the numbers during Thursday night's briefing. Nirenberg reported more than 524,000 first doses have been administered, and more than 294,000 people have been fully vaccinated. The mayor also discussed the city council's recent vote to create a vaccine registry for those age 65 or older. He said city staff members are working on the registry, which should be ready in a few weeks.
