Metro Health: Possibility Exists That Minors Have Been Vaccinated

Officials say there's a possibility that minors under age 16 have been vaccinated in Bexar County. Metro Health Assistant Director Dr. Anita Kurian confirmed on Thursday that 278 people have received a vaccine dose without revealing their age to health officials. Dr. Kurian said it's likely that some of the people of an "unknown age" who were vaccinated could be under age 16. Health officials say the Moderna vaccine is for people 18 and up, while the Pfizer vaccine is for people at least 16-years old.
