Alamodome, Convention Center Go Dark To Conserve Energy

Some downtown buildings went dark last night in an effort to conserve energy. The lights at the Alamodome and Convention Center were turned off following an inquiry by City Councilman Roberto Trevino. Trevino took to social media last night to urge the city to shut the lights downtown after other Texas cities did the same. He said the city must do all it can to ensure energy gets to those in need.
