Musk Plans To Use Texas Natural Gas To Power Starships

Elon Musk is planning to use natural gas from a site in South Texas to power the SpaceX Starships. The company wants to drill its own gas wells for fuel through a subsidiary called Lone Star Mineral Development according to Bloomberg. The company has purchased mineral rights near the launch site in Cameron County and picked up an 806-acre lease previously drilled by Sanchez Energy. Lone Star also bought two offshore rigs, which Bloomberg says may be used as landing pads for SpaceX's reusable rockets.
