Georgia Gov. Kemp Visits Chatham County Health Department As First Covid Vaccinations Are Administered

Starting today, mobile vaccination teams staffed by the Texas National Guard will vaccinate qualified residents of five rural counties. Gov. Greg Abbott on Wednesday announced the creation of the State Mobile Vaccine Pilot Program. National Guard teams will be deployed to vaccinate residents of DeWitt, Marion, Real, Sherman and Starr Counties. Abbott and the Texas Division of Emergency Management say the emphasis will be on the homebound, those age 65 and older, and other communities in need.
