Capitol Rioter From Texas Charged With Threatening To Assassinate AOC

A Texas man who stormed the U.S. Capitol is now charged with threatening to assassinate Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez as well as a Capitol police officer. Federal agents arrested Garret Miller on charges of trespassing and making death threats after Miller allegedly tweeted, "assassinate A-O-C." He also posted that the officer who fatally shot a Trump supporter "deserves to die" and won't survive long because it's "hunting season." Other posts referenced an oncoming civil war, saying "next time we bring the guns." Miller is being held in jail pending trial and is due in court on Monday.
