No Word Yet On When Texas Inmates Will Be Vaccinated

It's not yet clear when coronavirus vaccines will be made available to the inmates in Texas jails and prisons. The state has an inmate population of more than 186-thousand in prisons and jails that have been coronavirus hot spots since the pandemic started. At least 200 Texas inmates and more than 30 state prison employees have died of the virus. Texas health care workers and nursing home residents are at the head of the line to be vaccinated.
